Balswick's Tire was started by Orville Balswick in the 1940s. In 1976, his son, Jerry Balswick took over the operation. During 1988, the business moved into its present location on Golden State Blvd. in downtown Turlock, adjacent to Prime Shine Express Car Wash.

In 1998, we added Countryside Tire & Brake, our second location in Turlock. It sits on the corner of Countryside Dr. and Fulkerth Ave. (behind the Arco gas station). It's in the same shopping center as Wal-Mart, Staples, Food-Maxx, J.C. Penney's, and a number of good eating establishments, so drop your car off and get some shopping done at the same time!

  Currently Jerry's sons and son-in-law, Bret Balswick, Bart
  Balswick, and Paul Langley, keep the business running day-to-  
  day. Bret heads up the sales at this downtown location, while  
  Bart works at our second location on Countryside Drive. Paul
  oversees the finances and operations for both locations.

  Next to each of these shops is the Ten Minute Lube 'n Oil. Here  
  we change oil, perform transmission and radiator services,  
  replace air and fuel filters, and more!

Hi, I'm Bret! I've worked here as long as I can remember! Even while I was still in high school, I'd come down here to help out my dad (Jerry) any way I could. Now that I run the Golden State location, he expects me to be here every day! Actually, I really enjoy helping people with their tire needs, so give me a call!
